Who we are

This website belongs to the Language Boutique language school. Data controller: Language Boutique. You can contact us at WhatsApp.

What data we receive

The website does not use forms that store data on a server. When you complete the quiz and press “Send via WhatsApp”, your answers, name and comment are passed to WhatsApp on your own device. Whether you send that message is entirely up to you. If you write to us by email or messenger, we receive the data you provide: your name, contact details and the message.

Why we use the data

Only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a trial lesson and organise your learning. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.

Legal basis

Processing is necessary to respond to your request and to take steps before entering into a learning agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and is also based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Third-party services

Conversations on WhatsApp are governed by the WhatsApp privacy policy (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.). The website is hosted by a provider that may technically log IP addresses and request times for security purposes.

Cookies and analytics

The website does not use advertising cookies or analytics. Your browser only stores your chosen site language so we don’t ask you again.

Retention

We keep correspondence for as long as needed for your lessons and to meet legal obligations, and then delete it.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict processing, withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To do so, write to us at WhatsApp.
